Finnegan is a lovely 15 yr. old chestnut Thoroughbred mare with beautiful dark eyes. She is a rich, red chestnut color, with gold highlights, reflecting her heart of gold. Finnegan began life on a ranch in South Dakota, well-bred, well-raised, and well-loved. She suffered an injury while in training to become a race-horse and her future changed. She had several different owners before coming to live and work with Rainhorse, but never really found her calling. Now, she loves her job, and connects deeply with all kinds of people, charming them with her quiet affection. Finnegan has chronic respiratory problems that we manage successfully with a combination of herbs and careful preparation of her feed.
